ften referred to by her friends and students as A Woman For All Seasons, DeeDee has an extensive background, with Master of Arts degrees specializing in English, Celtic, and Scottish Literature. While living in England for a time, she became a scholar in the mythology and Grail-legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and admirer of The Renaissance Era, and visited Italy where the Renaissance movement began.
As a former ballet dancer and musician of Renaissance music and dance, she was invited to perform renaissance dancing at the Renaissance Faire at Sterling Forest in Tuxedo, New York. She lectures and demonstrates "The Art of The Dance": Nido d'Amore (the Nest
of Love).
Wherever she teaches classes in the Renaissance Era, she invites students to participate by wearing Medieval or Renaissance clothing! Music, merriment and dance…a fun time for all!DeeDee was twice invited to lecture and speak on metaphysical studies at the Scottish Astrological group in Edinburgh Scotland. For the last 5 years, DeeDee continues to
"make pilgrimages back to Scotland." She fell in love with Scotland's beauty, sacredness, culture and the people. She has also visited Ireland and was inspired by the mystical history and the aura of this land, which led her to create a course entitled: The Faerie Garden.Scholar, Author, Teacher, Lecturer, DeeDee. Recently honored by her alma mater: The American Institute of Holistic Theology, and the topic of an article on her successes, she is indeed A Woman For All Seasons, a Renaissance woman.
